Tony Iommi has revealed that he is working on a new mix of Black Sabbath 's Forbidden , originally released in 1995.

Forbidden , featuring Tony Martin Cozy Powell on drums Neil Murray on bass, is still considered by many fans to be the worst album of Black Sabbath's career.

In revealing the news, Iommi said that the band was never happy with the final result of their work and that now he has the opportunity to create a better sound.

Black Sabbath began recording Forbidden in 1994 at Par Street Studios in Liverpool, England, and finished the process at Devonshire Studios in Los Angeles with Body Count and Ernie C. The album's opening track, "The Illusion of Power," features a guest appearance by Body Count vocalist Ice-T .
